Systematic concern for the well-being of animals probably first arose as a system of thought in the Indus Valley Civilization as the religious belief that ancestors return in the animal form, and that animals must therefore be treated with the respect due to a human. This belief is exemplified in many religions.
Not all animals are fortunate to enjoy this status. Animals live in pitiable and depressing conditions and are under great emotional stress due to confinement, painful techniques of slaughter and worst of all, the disowning of these animals due to diseases.
United Animal Way is about making a difference to these animals, for these animals. United Animal Way is the voice for these animals. |
